Tying the Seal Bugger

How I like to Tie a Seal Bugger

Everyone of has their own way of tying any specific fly. It’s all about what looks good to you. The more confidence you have in a fly the more patience you will have fishing it. The Denny Rickard’s Seal Bugger pattern is one of the most productive flies I fish on the Blackfeet Reservation here in NW Montana. This video presumes the viewer already has some experience tying their own flies. I don’t go into great detail on the how to, but concentrate more on what works well for me to get the look I like in this particular fly.

What I love about this fly is its durability and the more you fish it – the fishier it gets!
