This homestead was inspired by our love of Montana’s east side with its big sky open plains nestled against the rugged beauty and grandeur of Glacier’s Rocky Mountains.
After a decade of living in a small travel trailer, we decided to “prove-up” like the old homesteaders and build our own place.
After finishing the project, I realized that this magical place was far too special to be selfish with, so I set out to share it with other adventure travelers and sojourners.
There are not a lot of lodging options over here that aren’t geared toward the summer tourists. I wanted to create a different yet intimate lodging experience for family and friends to gather. I like to say –
It’s the last best place in the last best place.
